My character Soren, in a Franz Ferdinand-inspired picture. ^_^Franz is my new love, so I wanted to do a pic in the spirit of things.
I played with their sort of pop artsy, british rocker style. Or attempted to, anyway. ^_^ I had a lot of fun with it.Take Me Out (c) Franz Ferdinand

Present Day,
Present Time.
Night time. For some, it is to be feared. For others, it's a time for shopping and galavanting. At a local night mall, one girl skips from store to store, looking for just the right lace to fit her new dress idea. At the same mall, one ex-model checks out the sales at Express For Men, and thinks about going back into the modelling business....
Classy Lolita Girl: [eyes shine as she stands in front of the mall. Squeals with delight as she runs inside, ignoring the strange looks from those around her. Trips and falls on her overly-sized shoes, but stands back up and keeps going, though is much more careful now. Spots a handsome man through the window at Express for Men. Presses her nose to the glass of the store, watches as the man with brown hair and green eyes checks himself out in the mirror...]

Across the store, a fair-skinned young man with pale blonde hair notices the attractive ex-model. He smiles and smoothes his hair, then darts over to stand behind the unassuming man. With headset and clipboard at the ready, he exclaims, "Welcome to our store, sir! Might I help you find anything this evening???"

Ex-Model: [jumps slightly at the sudden presence of the "store clerk"] Whoa! Dude, don' sneak up on a guy like 'at!! [resumes cool demeaner. Answers the 'clerk's question.] Well, yeah, actually. I'm tryin' ta get back in the business, but hell if I know what's 'in' 'r not these days. [looks at self in mirror. is wearing a silk/rayon button-up, short-sleeve black shirt, and black slacks.] Whadya think o' this?
Classic Lolita Girl: [sneaks in store, pulls out disposable pink camera. goes from clothing rack to clothing rack, trying to get a clear view of the ex-model in order to snap a picture.]

Soren: [His smile fades as he takes in Arsenal's attire.] Let me guess...you went to Walmart before you stopped in here?

Arsenal: [gives Soren a dirty look.] Yeah. Ya got a prob with that, buddy? [looks at self in mirror again, decides he hates his clothes. Starts taking them off as he heads to the dressing room.] I'm here now, ain't I, ya blood-thirsty freak o' nature?
Classic Lolita: [tries to sneak out from behind a display of ties, knocks over display. Becomes frozen for a moment. Then hastily tries to put display up, but has trouble balancing her heart-shaped purse, parasol, and teddy bear.]

Soren: [smiles and lets his eyes follow Arsenal as he starts taking off his clothes, then is distracted by the knocked over display. Raises an eyebrow at the sight of the frilly little Lolita, and heads her way. Stops and kneels down beside her. Picks up the parasol and smiles at her] Mademoiselle, you seem to be having a bit of trouble. Please let me help you with this.

Classic Lolita Girl Who I Haven't Named Yet: [at first tries to object, but ends up dropping more things...]
Arsenal: [is only slightly interested in what all the commotion is, pokes his head out.] Yo, sounds like the store's fallin' down. [scowl]

Soren: [smiles and says lightly] Arsenal, dear, why don't you shut up and try on some sexy clothes? [to the girl] That's a lovely dress, ma cherie. Might I ask where you acquired it? [smiles]

Arsenal: [mumbles something about wanting to beat Soren's ass later, puts his shirt back on, comes out to find out what's going on.]
Classic Lolita girl: [blushes, but says excitedly.] Oh! Thank you! I made this myself! ^_^ [stands up and twirls around, showing off all the frills.]
Arsenal: O.o Dude, didn't know you allowed kids in here.
Classic Lolita: [scowls at ars, says] I am NOT a little kid!! [stomps foot]
