This...is beautiful!! The washes, and the details in the dress and roof...everything! I love the idea as well, I can just imagine the interesting story behind this. Your whole gallery has this way of fueling imagination. Great work.

Es stimmt schon, dass ich zuweilen einen Hang zur Anglophilie habe, aber ich denke nicht, dass sich meine Bilder geografisch so genau bestimmen lassen.

oh my... i am ashamed i have never encountered your gallery before! This is most brilliant, excelent classical storybook illustration style. All the details in the clothing and character design, nice depth to the city below... everything! I could just loose myself into this drawing forever!
It really makes me re-think my own artwork and where i am headed with it, when i see something like this... its very inspirering to work harder.

This is reminiscent of a lot of great traditional ink & watercolor illustration, especially Rackham, even Froud. But you've got your own twist to it as well. I love the personality of the hag and the cat especially. It's well rendered and has lots of character overall. Nice stuff, well deserving of the attention.
