Been sketching more than painting lately. This is one of my earlier cloud series that's inspired by some Studio Ghibli skies.Before I took art seriously, I didn't quite understand why everyone liked Studio Ghibli animations so much. I just thought the characters were cute, but now looking back I'm amazed at the color palette in all their backgrounds! In my opinion that's what really makes them stand out as an animation! I haven't watched all their films but I plan to cover all the popular ones.
So far I've seen Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Porco Rosso, and of course Totoro. Which one should I watch next?
