I love this because it really is like American culture - if there is such a thing - is trying to take over the world and in the end we will all die from the ambition and the failure of it. Fantastic piece

Well i guess i have little anti yankee feeling in me,is not as if i think all americans are racist, ignorants, etc. Im sure that is not the case but unfortunately this small fraction of the american people is the one who leaves a marks on other countries i think, here in Mexico everyone knows who is mickey mouse,but not everyone knows what he represents, i just wanted to take a classic symbol from the american culture and kill it for good. hahahahahahha.

Yep, that was what I read in your painting too, and for the most part you are right!
Do you know though; I noticed that there is another way it can be interpretedβ¦This is a human scull, right? It says something like βWe will all be long dead, before Mickey Mouse dies, and it will sit there and laugh at us with its cutesy smileβ (because the hat with the image is untouched) Kind of like the cockroaches after nuclear warβ¦and that is because Mickey Mouse is a big corporation; that equals POWER! And thatβs whatβs wrong with America-World today. We as humans DEMAND and we let big corporations SUPLY (thatβs how they become big, right?), so they have the power over us. I think if we want to blame someone that should be our own selves
I know youβre talking about other issues tooβ¦just not enough space here for big discussionsβ¦but in general, I am on your sideβ¦I just always look from both points of view. It is hard to take sides that way
