Though... the fact that my favourite character is Discord might bias the plot a little... o.O
I wonder how are they going to make any problem scary, if they have reality-changing draconequus on their side...

True, though I feel that Discord isn't fully tamed by our crew. He still could flip to the dark side and that there is a problem on it's own. Plus I have a feeling that Discord is quite the procrastinator, so he might just not be in the mood to help out if any scary problems occur. There's still hope for some dramatic situations

I have one more idea for a plot:
Discord is not trusted by anypony except of fluttershy.Β
Something bad happens, but it's not his fault. They all blame him for everything.
He gets mad, but promised Flutter not to hurt anypony, so he just moves out.
The new villain appears. New villain use chaos. It's super efective.
They can't fight him, so all mane 6 search for discord and asks him for help and forgiveness.
Dissy walk into action and turns everything upside down, back to normal. Bad guy runs to the [name celestial body except of moon]
