What tips do you have so when you're making it you don't crush or squash the clay while you're working with such tiny tiny pieces?

I'm so trying this out!
Is it possible without the liquid clay? I don't know if I can find it in stores here. And I don't know if i could make the text with acrylic paint. Also something I'll have to buy I guess...

very thin paintbrush, and just acrylic paint
I buy everything in internet stores, coz have nothing in my city
bake&bond is usefull with other items, so this could be good investment (:
