Description
A picture I did in honor of the "Les Miserables" movie musical. Eponine (Samantha Barks), Marius (Eddie Redmayne), Cosette (Amanda Seyfried), and Enjolras (Aaron Tveit). I took it with me to the NYC premiere of the movie, hoping I might get at least some autographs on the red carpet, and I did, so yay!
Aaron Tveit's is the black one, and Amanda Seyfried's is the blue one. Now I've got to go find Eddie and Samantha one day to complete the collection! 
(When Aaron signed, he was about to sign RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF Enjolras' face, and I was kinda freaking out, like, "Nooooo!" and he was just kinda laughing, like, "Okay, okay! Where should I sign it?" And I showed him that spot on the red fabric and was like, "HERE!" And he did. :3 Thanks, Aaron!!)If you want to see the pre-autographed version, I posted it in my scraps here .
The media used here are watercolor (with salt), Copic marker, colored pencil, and black ink pen, on fiberboard.

This is really great, I love the facial expressions, Marius particularly, he reminds me of Flynn Rider in Tangled... the 'smolder', you know? and it's completely perfect...and their hair is great too... this turned out really great, I'll have to start experimenting with salted watercolour, I've never actually tried it before but the texture it adds looks fantastic... and d'you mean fiberboard like the stuff cereal boxes and the back cover of notebooks? cool.

but seriousy, this is awesome! if i had autographs, it could be part of my collection. ive been addicted to les miserables since i was 6. i have 3 t shirts. one from watching it on broadway, one from england which was from 1986, and one i got when i saw phantom on broadway. i also have the 10th anniversays video casette, the 25th anniversary dvd, the movie version of les mis from the 90s (not the musical), 2 playbills from the show, 2 tickets from seeing the movie, the movie on bluray and on my ipad, and soooooooo much more. thats just a small idea of my collection. i also wanna try to save money to get a few posters of les miserables (maybe a piece of your art

I've come back to look at this a few times, so I figured I better make a comment. I absolutely LOVE this piece of artwork. It's amazing. The facial expressions are perfect, especially Enjolras'. You can actually recognize the actor's faces in the drawing, too, but there's also something else there that makes it your own. I love your style, it's super clean and elegant!!

Oh, how lucky you were! I love the film and Aaron's voice was just so awesome... I also really like Samantha's work and character. Now, I hope I find the book so I can read it! (See the musical could be more difficult for me...)
