Inspired in part by that old Samurai Jack cartoon. Anyone else remember that? I LOVED it.So anyways I spat out this little comic project. it was MEANT to be a very rough, quick sketch for comic panel-layout practice and storyboard practice but I wound up spending way too much time on it and it still came out pretty slipshod.
I can see a lot of things I wish I'd done differently and a lot of the panels are fucked because I free-handed them and inked them while it was on my lap.
At any rate, I hope the action and sequence are at least understandable and any comments or critiques would be appreciated. This is practice after all, and if I don't get it ripped apart then the serious attempts won't be very good either.

I thought it was going to get away, but then it died. Made me very sad.
Wonderfully laid out and drawn though, made perfect sense to me.

I think overall, it was a great easy-to-follow comic. The only critic I would make would be adding some background to the first panel ... to show that there's no escape. It just seems to 'open' to me. But that's the only sort-of critic I have; otherwise, I love this piece.

Getting shot near the fornt leg causes it to bleed out of it's nose and mouth? Would Nan tell you off about that?
Otherwise, this is downright great. I love the flow, the use of white and some marvelous perspective and expressions.
Now we can barbeque this unicorn and celebrate a great hunt.

Poor Uni :c. But, why is her horn bleeding, I mean, it looks like they cut it off before it hit the skin, instead of yanking it out.

Honestly I have no criticism for this because I think you did a fantastic job all around. Poor unicorn :C didn't stand a chance.

But. Critic time. Um umum!
Watch out for the magically dissappearing gore/injuries. Like in panel 13(ish I think) The unicorn has blood on his/her horn and wounds (or is that blood too?) all over his/her face then in the following panels, it all went poof!
But thats all I can see at the moment. Amazing job! <3

That's actually what Samurai Jack was built on. The very artistic concept of "Black Vs. White, with Red in the background".
