Description
Little Thing-dog I painted for a friend at work. Fun fact, in the original short story that The Thing is based off of, the monster has blue skin and three red eyes. It's called "Who Goes There?" and can be read for free online as a PDF if you care to look for it. It has many similarities to the John Carpenter film!This piece was gouache on bristol paper, touched up with red, white and blue gel pens. I am available for commissions!

Gah, this makes me want to hurry up and get my own Horror-Holiday artwork going. I'm going to try to bust out the Prismacolors again, but damn schoolwork is eating up all the attention. Well, at least I have my snowbound hellhound to keep me inspired until next week. Come to think of it, I kind of miss gouache as well. Sure, it's expensive as Hell and the yellow never lasts long enough, but man, you simply got the best, and most solid colors with that stuff.
