Description I really do have a thing for this Regal!AU for Hiro. And today I was thinking about it all again and again, and finally my muse came up with a nice idea, which I tried to picture. And the idea is: Hiro is the prince in his kingdom in Japan, according to my AU, and Gogo is the korean princess. And after the horrible war between their kingdoms, Hiro lost his brother Tadashi. The army of Hiro’s father returns with the victory and after some time, two kingdoms finally decide to sign a peace treaty and the meeting was arranged precisely in the , which is the capital of japanese kingdom [ Yerba-Edobuena (old version of San Fransokyo)]. Korean royal family comes along with their only daughter Leiko. Secretly two royal families plan their children to marry each other, as always of course without permission of Hiro and Leiko. But yeah, you may think, I dressed miss Gogo so beautifully and made her princess, but you are mistaken if you think that she is silly and capricious. Not even in the slightest. I see Leiko as the brave princess, who is loyal to her kingdom. She has to follow the rules, because doesn’t want to dishonor her family and therefore she comes to Yerba-Edobuena and only because of this she has no other choice but to agree and marry the japanese prince (Hiro on the other hand doesn’t want to get marries, because he thinks it’s totally insane, but his parents insist and he has to agree as well; let’s not forget that in ancient times it was totally okay to be married to someone if you’re 14 or 16 years old, not mention that royal families often did such a thing no matter how gross it looks nowadays). And so, Leiko is actually more than just a simple princess, she is actually interested in weaponry and knows how to use some types of cold arms, she’s also interested in martial arts. So you see, she’s more like a tough action girl, who is forced into silks and rich jewelry. Hiro is also not into regal manners and he is far too freedom-loving, his brother taught him martial arts and also trained him in sword fighting. Therefore imagine, at first Hiro and Leiko hate this all, they fake smiles and good manners in front of their parents, but they do not like everything about this. And they try to avoid each other. But once at night when Hiro walks around the palace, because he cannot sleep and has nightmares because he misses his brother, he catches Leiko in the garden and sees her practising in martial arts all alone. He watches and finally comes out to tell her that she has a passion, but still needs to learn some important basics. And she’s all like: I don’t need advices from some ladylike prince and he’s like: excuse me, but it’s not like I want to make you love me, you’re just doing the thing wrong, let me explain, my brother taught me right. And that’s how they really become acquainted. Like, he teaches her something and she teaches him something as well in return. And they become friends. And he tells her that he was afraid of this meeting and didn’t want to see nor her, nor her family, because he imagined them to be as cruel as the war between their kingdom was. And this war took away his older brother. AND UGH. So many feels.

Also I just drew this because I wondered how Gogo will look in such a dress. In this AU I guess she will cut off her hair (like Mulan omg) because she’s a rebel. Yes.

The outfits are chinese, because I am a rebel too ahahha

I love this idea so much and I really wish you would write out an AU of this. I would read it and constantly check for more chapters.

Erm… that isn't a Korean traditional dress that Gogo is wearing…

Unless you just put her in a Chinese/Japenese one for a reason.

But she's still soooooo pretty in this one you might as well not redraw her because this is amazing! Huh. Always did want to see Gogo in a dress too…
