The appearance overall works well in contrast with the background and progressive blend of lighting, so you've kept a wonderfully keen eye about it. Like any portrait, this comes as no surprise, but the weapon design stands out more than just typical, which is a good pursuit for something a bit refreshing.
There's no doubt that your painting methods and use of texture are extra delightful and use realistic customs that aren't always seen, and alongside the blended color theory and commendable variety of hues, it still stands as strong and superb as it was before, most notably that your contrast has appeared to improve from your works before. This is especially seen in analysis with the visibility of the weapon, the brightness and shadows of the weapon itself, and how it has more space room shown here without intruding too much of the character's portrait space. This is a considerate balance with a redeeming display.
The impact isn't much different from other high-end portraits you have done before, but the choices of color and control of saturation still keep it exquisite.
