I loooove the lighting here--you see just enough of that foreboding red, and the snowflakes give the whole thing a nice dimension. I also really like how you did her face and hair

It was Anakin's lightsaber than it was his son, Luke's lightsaber and now it calls out to Rey. It seems to be passed down from parent to child. Plus, it would help explain why Luke is so depressed because he lost his daughter, maybe even thought she had died. It could also explain why she attached herself so quickly to Han too because she sensed that he was her uncle and she seemed to like Leia too so she could've sensed she was her aunt. I can kind of see some Luke in her, though her personality is a lot like Anakin and Leia's. If she isn't actually Luke's daughter, he better adopt her because she really needs a father.

I agree with this theory because she looks to similar young Leia and Amidala for it not be likely. If this theory isn't true why not use a different actress to play Rey who doesn't look like similar young Carrie Fisher and Natalie Portman. If it's meant to be a red herring than it was to forced upon. By the way nice lighting effects on the snow.
