I went to a local jam. The music they played felt like spacing out, drifting somewhere in the cosmos.Materials: watercolor, inks and color pencils.

Very tasty, as a hawkwind fan I can appreciate what your saying about the music at the local jam.
Firstly the colour palette is an excellent choice, it works really well together and gives the overall image a brilliant level of depth. The choice of materials has added to the depth of the picture, had you used different paints or done it in pastelles or markers you may not have achieved quite the same depth.
The contrast between the realism of the face and skullls and the organic movement of the background is excellent. The detailing on the image is excellent and consistent across the whole of the picture. All in all it is an excellent piece.
