Description Not every system is perfect. Nothing is, and everything has some kind of hitch or can be made to stutter. In order for Beastkin to be put in irons , they have to come from somewhere.
But not all of them are born free... Some make their ow freedom.
A good while ago, it was mentioned in passing that Beastkin outside of Kaesu's valley set down their roots following breaking out of their chains, creating their own little cycle of escaping, congregating, settling, and enjoying a measure of peace and freedom until their former oppressors catch wind and put a stop to that. This micro-cycle almost always starts with some of them breaking out. However, for some, the cycle doesn't end with them back in chains, and it may not even lead them to start making friends and settle down.
Because this little song and dance has been going on for a long time, some escapees have "wised up" as it were. Settling down and growing seems nice, but the stories of once peaceful Beastkin enclaves, the inspiration to escape in the first place, always ends with their slice of paradise being unmade in a couple generation's time.
So why grow a tree to be cut down, when you can be a leaf forever floating on the breeze?
These drifting Beastkin can end up in all manner of places doing all manner of things, but those are stories for later images...
