Cherry Limeade is an Earth Pony hailing from Manehattan. She's a mixologist and runs a 95% non-alcoholic bar in Ponyville where she puts her drink making skills to the test.

Cherry cannot tolerate snobbish or conceited ponies, mainly due to her upbringing in Manehattan and how it affected her with the other ponies around her. She's lived in many places throughout Equestria to find where she belongs. Despite she's interacted with many different ponies and has seen many different faces, Cherry doesn't have tons of friends. She's settled down in Ponyville to see if it would make much of a difference in her life.

Cherry is also much stronger than she looks, and can easily lift up barrels needed for her work. Messing with Cherry and trying to pick a fight with her is commonly considered to be a grave mistake as she can easily wipe the floor with anypony who challenges her. That's not to say she's won all of her fights, but usually, fights are rare.

She's a fairly cheery and upbeat mare up until certain kinds of folks strut into her bar and act like they own the place. She has standards and isn't going to put up with crap. Acting better than her usually is a test of her temper.

Despite such, Cherry Limeade is a fairly nice mare who doesn't mind helping out her friends with jobs that require her strength or making drinks for them in her free time. Her cutie mark was earned when she discovered her talent of making drinks and how much other ponies enjoyed drinking them and seeing their smiles.
