Description I didn't do specific process pieces for a good chunk of the Gods AU pieces I'll be gradually posting up. Fredrick and Goldwyn have very loose ties to their source material inspiration at this point considering? They're technically AU versions of my interpretations of Freddy Fazbear and Golden Freddy (because FNaF still lingers in my mind). But they are a lot more distant to it at the same time?? Quite frankly, the two of them are in a weird spot.

Anyway, Fredrick.

Fredrick (also known as Lord Fredrick) is the God of Storms, the Wind, Thunder and Lightning, and Good Order. Due to his inherited role of maintaining order in the heavens as assigned to him by King Orion, he is essentially Angelus's right hand man in regards to managing the divine juristiction and the court. He is the younger twin brother of Goldwyn, the husband to the former goddess Juno, the father to Anthea and Eric, and the adoptive uncle figure to Penelope.

Fredrick's life was more lax at first before he took on the role of the God of Order. He still tried to maintain being serious and presentable to set a good example for the next generation as well as the other gods of the present one at the time. Orion found him suitable to be the next successor of the powers of the God of Order, even though Fredrick felt like Goldwyn would be better fit for the job. Despite Goldwyn was pitied upon by the other gods for his endless misfortune, there was still a bit of a stigma against him due to his role for the power he was assigned at at birth. With that, Fredrick was assigned to the role, mostly as Orion and Justine were concerned about Angelus having domain over order and chaos and didn't trust him with such responsibility.

Juno was cast out of the heavens under strange circumstances. Though she lived and maintained her memories, she lost her powers and was out of contact with the heavens for a while. Fredrick was distraught. Not too long after, or so it felt, his young adoptive niece, Penelope, was suddenly cast out of the heavens. The King and Queen were murdered, Angelus was forced to rise to the throne, and soon after, his beloved older twin brother Goldwyn was forcibly banished despite having done nothing wrong. Though he tried to hold off the stress for a long time, the experiences and grief have done a heavy hit to his mental health. From there, he felt like his only mechanism was to try and act like he was in control and could keep things perfect and in order while bottling up the pain inside.

With that, he's actively been on the verge of corruption, but has also been holding back against it. He is aware of the problem, but the mixed control can cause some lapses in memory. The main things that he wants back are: Juno (if realistically possible, but trying to restore a god's powers after being stripped is hard), his missing niece, and his beloved twin brother.

Fredrick's main character struggle is with grief. He's specifically been stuck in a depressive cycle of hopelessness and self-blame that has been difficult for him to recover from. He's supposed to be the god of order, so why can't he keep his pain in control? He doesn't understand it, and it causes him to throw himself into his work even more.
