Description
High Five and Inka had their own difficulties in this drawing. High was hard due to his macho tank outfit (and just drawing him as a tank in general), but Inka was a bit harder due to the detail of her armor. I had to be specific with the colors and make them fade, as well as the pattern. Those two probably were the most complicated to draw in some ways. And then there's Syringa. She was fine. This is the Phase 2 squad against the Darker Lord's right hand. From my memory, it was the one with the staff. The lasers were fairly irritating to deal with.
High Five (Eighth Teammate); Energetic Tank
Though High Five didn't see what happened, he was motivated by his sense of justice to help the Great Sage and vanquish the Dark Curse to prevent anyone from being harmed, and was okay with the whole team being needed for this one fight. He also made sure to not act to recklessly in the battle because Syringa and Inka needed him and he didn't want to let either of them down. He was tempted to go into his hand form a few times during the battle but he didn't.
High is one of the nicest and purest team members on Ci's team. He has a strong penchant for justice, loves puns (especially hand puns) and enjoys giving his teammates gifts. He tends to use a lot of puns in combat, though it wasn't as much of the case in this situation. High can shift into his hand form at will, and become an armored tank hand, which is pretty cool in the team's opinion, but as previously stated, he remained in his Mii form for the duration of this fight. His energy and reckless behavior can be quite a "handful" to deal with.
At the end of the second phase, however, High Five regret not changing into his hand form because he got his face stolen again along with everyone else. He wasn't too upset about having it gone though, but he still didn't like it. He was relieved that everyone was safe afterwards and that nothing tragic had happened in the course of the battle.
Syringa (Seventh Teammate); Cautious Cleric
Syringa was one of the spectators to what happened to the Great Sage, and she wasn't able to easily process the news like she could normally process anything else. It was something horrifying to watch, and she couldn't easily remove the memories of what happened throughout this adventure from her database. This long adventure had caused something to finally spark that she had been long lacking--that being emotion. Perhaps the understanding of emotions was something that she hadn't been lacking in her system after all.
Ci decided to split it up so that each of the three teams to take on the Darker Lord would have a healer. Syringa was Team 2's healer, and she made sure to do her job well. As High and Inka were the hard-hitters of the trio here, Syringa had to focus more on healing. Especially with the powerful charged lasers and the required-yet-limited shields to help absorb damage. The android was certain that some of her silvery-hued hair was singed. In fact, it might still be she hasn't checked.
Syringa's medical knowledge and her clerical abilities make her a reliable teammate, and is one of the smartest out of them all. She has knowledge other than medicine, but medicine is her preferred field. She is all logic and no emotion due to her lack of understanding of feelings, and she struggles to sympathize with her party's emotional issues, even if she can diagnose them. However, seeing what happened ot Penelope put some scars into her database and it's helped her start to understand and feel emotions better, as previously mentioned.
And then Syringa's face was stolen AGAIN up until the end of the final battle, and she was done with face-stealing at this point. Syringa learned from getitng her face stolen twice that her system really does not take it well if her face is removed and it's gone into a confused error mode more times than she can appreciate.
Inka (Sixth Teammate); Laid-back Warrior
Inka felt bad for the Great Sage, but at the same time, she saw this coming. It was almost instinct that something bad was going to happen to the Great Sage. She hasn't dealt with body possession in past battles, but she has seen one of her mentors get captured and have one of her friends mind-controlled. She did think that it was pretty messed up that the Great Sage got possessed and that the curse targeted Ci first.
She wanted to work with Octavia and Marie though. It would be a sea-creature trio that would take on the world with vengeance. Unfortunately, reality differed and she got stuck with High Five and Syringa. Inka DID get to work with High Five though, and she likes High, so it's all good.
Inka is a competent warrior with a strong sense of justice. She's quite chill, but is known for her seriousness and determination... that she seems to use when she wants to use it. She tends to sway with how seriously she's taking something, but for this fight, she gave it her all. She used as much strength and skill as possible. She is jealous of Hat Deer though. He's a skilled warrior and is really good for the team, but she wished she could've been in the final four. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.
Like the other five team members who dealt with the first few phases, Inka was unlucky enough to have her face taken off again. Like everyone else, she was very unamused. What is with these villains and face-stealing, and why is it reasonable to them? Perhaps there's some kind of backstory as to why they steal faces. Inka doesn't know, but she wasn't impressed.
