Description
EDIT: Just for future reference, I am aware that Springtrap is William Afton. I suppose my misinterpretation was likely due to the fact I’m not very good at keeping track with FNaF canon. I updated the description accordingly.Simplistic Sheet V2: shadowcircifox13.deviantart.co…
Springtrap is one of the original golden animatronics (previously “Spring Bonnie”) along with Golden Freddy (previously “Fredbear”). Though Golden Freddy and Springtrap have both gone through messed up things, its more that Springtrap as an animatronic has gone through some rough patches rather than the spirit that housed him. He’s gotten the short end of the stick, and no stick at all on many occasions, but William Afton is more to blame than the degraded Spring Bonnie animatronic itself. He’s also one of the ones I dislike the most. I used to think Chica was terrifying, but Springtrap is creepier. I tried to sort of reflect this in now I drew him, and I added in more holes and scars to his appearance. I tend to reference the FNaF World animatronics for drawing certain versions, with Springtrap being one of them. Originally, I had based Springtrap from Michael Afton out of confusion because I had no idea which Purple Guy was the killer and which wasn’t. Sister Location really confused me in that aspect. That confusion is reflected in his interpretation now.
Springtrap is the most hated and least trusted out of those present at Freddy’s for a variety of reasons. William Afton was killed inside the Springtrap suit, and the hostile spirit of the child murderer remained—and everyone wishes he hadn’t. The possessed suit and the spirit could not die, even when being burnt by arson. He still has aspects of William with his cunning and determination, but he also has no idea if he IS William or Michael sometimes. His confusion is not by fault of his own—and rather, it was completely intentional. His murderous nature had to be suppressed somehow. It doesn’t stop Freddy and his friends from hating him nonetheless.
From the way he is now, Springtrap is quite devious when he must be, with a touch of sarcasm. He also has a carefree, wild air about him when he’s relaxed. He has a habit of being incredibly determined and hard to stop when he has his eyes set on something, mainly with his current goals. His eerie appearance makes him hard to be around.
I feel like I’ve gotten a bit better and also have had a better idea of how to draw Springtrap in my style. I don’t relatively like Springtrap much (as he freaks me out), but I did like figuring out his outfit and his design.Five Nights at Freddy’s 3- Scott Cawthon

I like the design choices here, the beat-up body and torn clothes really add to the torment he faced in life.
This is a guy you don't mess with.

Thank you! And that's very true in a lot of ways (thinking of him technically being the only animatronic you have to deal with in FNaF 3 as well as his strength in FNaF world). I felt like a design like this would work for his interpretation noting all the stuff that had happened before and after with the Springtrap suit.
