*is the only one who thinks Goering looks good in that, and will have to accept that it's going to be that way forever*
He looks a bit under-dressed than normal for this.

Underdressed? I guess so :/
He's lacking all the usual stuff he usually wears.

Yeah, not as many medals, he looks rather impoverished from his normal self. But looking at his weight and the uniforms of the others, I'm guessing this is later in the war, where he was getting a lot heavier on Morphine.
He also has his head down, and that isn't his normal body language at all.

I still find it difficult to believe that Goering was such an addict to Morphine. When you look at the Reich, you don't think they had anything wrong with them but they all had their own problems.
When do reckon this was then? About 1944?
I agree, Goering in pictures is always shown as a confident, dominent personality. Even i can see that this isn't his usual flamboyant persona.

I know, they do all sort of seem larger than life, but they were just people. I really sympathize with Goering's addiction to painkillers, having a problem with them myself. If I had access to them like Goering did, I don't think I'd function as well as he did.
I'm thinking that it was maybe 44, but that's mostly going by Goering looks. His face shape, weight, eyes (from what is seen, he doesn't have that alert spark in them like he did when he wasn't heavy on painkillers, like you see in the earlier pictures and the ones where he was clean again at his trial)
Yeah I mean he never tends to look into the camera in his later years, (in pictures where he was a thin flying ace, he almost always looks into the camera)but you can still see vibrancy in his eyes. He always holds his head up and he always has that air of confidence about him. That "I fucking own lions and let them lick my face and inside my house" sort of confidence that just makes Goering... Goering. He really looks in bad shape here, I mean this is the guy who had 5,000 plans fly over Berlin to celebrate the Birth of his daughter. He doesn't look much like that guy here.

Hitler looks in bad shape too in this pic. Like he did later in the war. If you look close you can see the veins in his hands like that of an old man and the wrinkles and darkness in his face. I'm guessing around 1944,too.

Yes, that is very true. I'm almost tempted to say this may have been after the last assassination attempt.
They both look in bad shape, but I have a sharper eye for the changes in Goering than Hitler.

That's quite possible.
I'm better at changes with Hitler than Goering sine my love for Goering only began a couple of days ago.During those couple days I've managed to create a drinking game out of Goering. Every time cake is mentioned with Goering drink. If it's only text then just a sip.If its drawn 1 gulp. If its a photomanip 2 gulps. If its a real picture of Goering with a cake drink your whole drink.

^.^'
Depending on the person, white suits can be good or bad. If you're witty, suave, bone thin and play a musical instrument, then a white suit is for you.
If you do not fulfil any the above categories, wear something else.
I believe his white suit was part of his uniform however, so he did have no choice ^.^

There are pictures of Speer in a white uniform on web archives. He... shouldn't have worn it. Because Speer too had a little beer gut. fer srs. It didn't look good. Even if Speer was (fairly) witty and suave.
