Finalllly!!! A long overdue character sheet for my notorious prankster pit bull characters for the comic Die Ode Blight!

--NOTE: Sparky is more realistic for the sake of the comic. Otherwise he will remain his nuclear green, cartoony self--

...As well as a not so brief background synopsis Any input would be most helpful and deserving of a cookie.

Oh, and Fizz usually wears a spiked collar too, but it was too hard to draw from that perspective <--FAIL.

I like the poses, so I may turn this into a full piccy with a background and all =3 I crazzzy like that!

Background:

Sparky (the blueish/grey brindle) is the eldest of the two. In the past, he was a loyal and devoted Sergeant of a "pack" used by the military. (It's a long story, but it's a futuristic world, basically a barren desert of a landscape with no natural resources remaining. The sea has long dried up, leaving vast wastelands of debris and salt beds. Its a harsh environment, located just outside of a long devastated (and for the most part) abandoned city.) He was VERY devoted to his master, a human general, who commanded the canine unit.

It consisted of his younger brother Fizz, and several other genetically engineered canines of various breeds, but largely pit bull and Doberman origin.

Sparky and Fizz's life is anything but pleasant. Although devoted to the humans NO matter the circumstance, they were succumbed to dog fights (against each other, as well as other types of animals such as circuit cats), abuse, neglect, and starvation. Their bond as brothers held them though these hard times. Although they try to hide it, their trauma of the past remains and haunts them in nightmares and reality. They do not, however, blame the humans and remain loyal despite the abuse.

During a nuclear event that triggered the demise of the human civilization, the general was killed when a generator fell on him. Sparky lept to his rescue, only to be electrocuted in the process (actually, I must note that before this point his name was Ozz... but sparky becomes a nickname hehe.. tis a pun). His younger brother, Fizz, lept into the chaos to try to save him, while the rest of the pack fled. The human died, and sparky was badly wounded by electrical burns.

With the city in ruin, the canine unit became wild, and lead by the former second in command, Skoll a clever and devious Doberman hybrid. Skoll always despised Sparky, and framed him for the death of the human, which is a huge taboo among canine kind. Although both sparky and fizz were thought for dead, stories were whispered in the pack of a traitor, and even a demon sent to finish off the rest of the pack.

Meanwhile, Fizz managed to nurse his older brother back to health, even though he was also severely injured. They have an extremely tight brotherly bond and would not hesitate to die for one another. They also have an extremely witty, cynical and practical sense of humor. Fun loving, but in a jester sort of way... they are just in a bad situation and horrible environment fighting for survival.

The two managed to avoid any contact with the now rampant pack, and live in the shadows of the outermost city bordering the wasteland where Skoll's army never ventured. Skoll fed them lies that he himself witnessed Sparky kill the master, and in turn sought his throat and ended both him and Fizz, who also turned against the human. This of course, is not true. The pack often sees strange shadows, and bristle as if someone or something is watching them from the dark corners.. The two mavericks observe from a distance, playing pranks and jokes to terrify the pack into believing they are demons sent to destroy. (which will be tons of fun to draw.. yeaaah!) They go to all lengths, sparing no amount of blood and gore and seek to take out ever member of the pack one by one, but in a sadistic sort of devious jester way.
