A brilliant capture.
It's so beautiful.
The petals make me think of wind and movement.
The focus is wonderful, it does almost make the curling stem seem like smoke.

This is a wonderful twist on the classic still-life flower... At first glance, it looks like a splash of water coming off of the center of the flower. Simply brilliant. ^^

This is beautiful and seductive. The black and white brings out the details gorgeously and paints a very barren, desolate feeling. Forsaken. It would make great album art.

It is gorgeous - the movement, the light. It can look at it either as a positive thing - 'the flower is still fighting', or a negative thing 'all is over'. Either way it's beautiful.

Unfortunately, I do not know what kind of flower it is. I found it in that state quite some time ago. It is actually much smaller than it may appear. If I recall correctly, the main part measured less than an inch in diameter. Thanks again!
