a simple drawing that took me ages~ages~ ages~ O__o;; She has far too many accessories it must take her 3 hours to get ready in the morning.. i was actually doing a crisis core before this then i got bored .__.Lightning is sooo cooool
i felt like i didnt do her justice enough. lol anyway, Noctis anyone? I might combine the 2 for sale, i duno D: the FFXIII logo is property of Square Enix and i got it off a fansite like everyone else in the world who's not a squeenix person.

What program do you use to get your artwork like that? I know alot of it is skill, but I NEED to know which program you use!! THe brushes are so elegant!

lol! t-there is no real secret, though x'D I just use photoshop for coloring! and SAI for linework. And the brush i use is the standard airbrush that works well with pen pressure

Nah, I don't think it takes Lightning that long to change! She probably just throws on her clothes and runs out the door.

What I noticed is a problem with alot of artist (even myself) is the body. In this picture, I think that Lightning is a bit too skinny than she should be. Then again, it might be your style, right? Another problem is the position of her legs seem akward. My friend also has this problem too, she makes positions that look so cool but are actually very weird if you look carefully. Lastly, her left hand looks off. (Left if you were in Lightning's position.) It seems as if her wrist are somehow twisted...
But of course, please don't take these to offence...
Now, what I like about this piece of art is the colouring and shading. Seriously, I can never get those 2 aspects right when I am drawing... Additionally, I like the fact that you added all those small things that Lightning has. (I'm a sucker for detail as well.) Well...I guess that's all I have to say...

i don't get much constructive criticism so this is a refreshing change (: yup, i don't usually stylize bodies to this extent but i went crazy with this one xDD it was intentional on my part, i know how others might feel about that but i did it anyway just cuz i felt like it, really

Hmmm...I don't know who Hyung-Tae Kim is but since you mentioned him I looked a bit at his art. (They are very cool!) I know what you mean, by the dynamic poses. It's actually really amazing because these poses seem SO plausible to do but in actual fact, you can't do them. Yes, everyone has their own opinion on art and I thank you for not taking my comment badly when the dynamic style was your intention. Thank you for taking your time to comment back!

Your welcome, I keep admiring it haha, it's great. I was wondering if you would be okay if I referenced the pose that you gave her. Just for a personal little doodle and practice, nothing commercial.
