Description
I was shooting a reportage about one very traditional carneval here in Slovenia.No I didnt go to Venice this year.
This year I went to one really interesting slovenian one.
I am going to show you more soon.
Digital yes (Canon 20D)... but there are also 2 b/w rolls to develop...and I have a good feeling about few frames....

I love to see pictures that seem so familiar to me - like I knew the location you took this. But I'm living a lot westwards from Slovenia and I know those old windows and old ladys looking out of them. Even if I live in the east of Germany I've seen this scene - it's to european, isn't it?

wonderful shot as always, ciril...but...maybe b&w would have worked well here? the color offers no purpose...and could you have cropped the photo to include only the window and leave out the walls on the left and right? just some thoughts from an amateur to a professional

to me, this is awesome - only if considered as source material.
with a bit of further editing, this would really standout.
-) a bit of transforming to get rid off the falling lines
-) the red channel is too prominent in this one
-) some further tonal/contrast adjustments would also do gold.
anyway, I will fav this ......anticipating the hopefully soon to come "end result"
