I look a look at Red. The eye color will be no problem. For the hair, I do want to think about it for a moment.
One idea may be to usually keep the character bald but add hair if it gives a kind of intensity to the picture.. Kinda like how the author of Space Moose made his character bald in most instances, but sometimes added hair if it added to the drawing. Then again Space Moose was a satirical comedy series (it's quite interesting!).
The idea I have is that the five canon characters (Fox, Falco, Slippy, Peppy, and Krystal) and your character are sitting at a table, perhaps eating Chinese food or something. Fox has his arm around Krystal (I might put her in a Chinese cheongsam/qipao) is saying something to Red, and Red is in turn saying something back. I want to know details of your character's personality so I can understand how they would interact with each other.

Ah... I've never done any requests or commissions before, so I'll have to think about it. I've known some people who are far better artists than me and I think they could easily do well with commissions, especially when they get U.S. dollars or Euros yet live in countries using other currencies.
I think for now I may make your requests just be free requests, although if you like to draw you are welcome to make it a trade of some sort. I would like to have some more feedback about your character before I draw him, if that's okay.
If I end up doing art more often I'll have to think hard about when I do commissions and/or for how much. I honestly don't think I would charge very much...

I can say this much; they've always been rivals. However, in Assault, Wolf seemed to display a sudden change of heart although he denies it. So I guess they're kind of rivals and freinds at the same time. Though it's clear that they're more rivals than they are freinds although they helped each other out in Assault.

What's interesting is that it happens a lot in shonen series:
* Vegeta and Goku in Dragon Ball Z
* Hiei and Yusuke in Yu Yu Hakusho
* Kaiba and Yugi in Yu-Gi-Oh!
* Ren and Yoh in Shaman King
And I like the trope in shonen series, as it shows the characters growing up

yep, but became rivals. I like to think it was just Andross that killed James and Wolf really had nothing to do with it. and so, eventually, in Assault, Wolf saved Fox's life and they became secret lovers. XD! With me as their little pet. ^__^
