Nothing is missing. Its just different from how you normally draw them with the backgrounds and such. It makes the blood and his facial features stand out a lot more. There is also something about him that looks more humanised and threatening(kinda like a werewolf.

I kinda want to know whats going on but i'm afraid if I do that it might spoil something. o.o
