Another fan art for pokemon ORAS (fan art two days in a row?? New Record!!).Right when I finished the last entry, I noticed there was another pokemon contest so I decided to make another entry. This time it was to show off an attraction that was Hoen exclusive.
Hoen has LOTS of stuff like Pokemon contests, Pokeblock, PokeNavi, and definitely, SECRET BASES!!
I was looking through some of the entries before me and I knew I had to come up with a good idea.
Ok secret bases, but what about them??
Thats when it came to me, this game is a reamake of the old GameBoyAdvance games. Many generations haven't seen anything before Pokemon Black/White or XY!
I know many children who started with XY and are now going on to OmegaRuby/Alpha Sapphire. They don't know what secret bases are!!
So now you got a trainer from the Kalos region, coming to Hoen and exploring to catch pokemon. What he thinks is a hidden groto (Black White Reference) is actually a secret base so he believes Gardevoir is a wild pokemon.
Naa thats actually where the ORAS Trainer and the champion (from Emerald) Wallace, are having some Tea.
I know, once again the art isn't top notch but while filling in color with a mouse, I think it came out decent. I will update the artwork if I have the time.

And yes Ive seen Zinnia fan art and other images and she looks sooooo cool!! I personally haven't gotten to her in the game yet but I already have her sketched out in my ORAS comic (which still needs to be uploaded oh my goodness x_x)

I finished the Zinnia parts a few months ago and she was just awesome! I was about to cry when the delta episode ended because I was like "where did she go?"
and I scrapped the oras comic since a few people told me it was no good. I already restarted it but at this point its like never mind.

Thanks man. I found the pages in an old foandr, and with a more mature mind with arofover the year, realized they werent too bad. Ill definitely get it up soon enough. Theres A LOT of projects I have that are basically finished but have been scratched. even looking back at my old comics as a child i noticed they are epic if i recreate the art. Theres tons of material for me to work with and upload. Ill follow my own insticts instead of listening to haters. Thanks for the confident boost

Yeah me neither lol. Lots of new Dolls, new furniture! From the trailer if I recall correctly, there is even a slide. I hope they add fun things like that. Not to mention let it be creative with streetpass.

Definitely! I really missed that kind of feature in games like heartgold and soulsilver. It would be great if they added it back in, even just for the secret bases. Letting your pokemon hangout in the bases would be the coolest!!

I actually started Pokémon with Emerald, so I am VERY excited for ORAS. I miss the secret bases a lot so I hope that I'll get to one day make another secret base. ^^
But still, I can't believe people can draw with only a mouse! That takes a lot of skill and I certainly couldn't do that for the life of me |D

On my birthday (same release date as ORAS) I am getting a drawing tablet so I'm so excited for that.
And yeah I loved the secret bases. There were so many throughout the region so it was a lot of fun trying to find the right base. I remember having a wailmer doll. It was huge! Lol
Back to the good old days where "secret power" will be useful haha.
