Chrysalis was the single most horrifying thing in this show. Changelings of that species would ruin lives and feed on emotion, as well as zombify the one they feed on. Eugh.

No one was hurt? A princess was abducted, held in caves, her soon-to-be husband has been corrupted by some spell, she got her own identity stolen, and Canterlot - the capital city of Equestria, no less - was invaded. Not to mention, the aggression against the inhabitants, the serviceponies garrisoned in the city, and the aggression against Celestia, Co-Ruler of Equestria, and her imprisonment in some Changeling pod.
They intended to conquer the city. And surely all of Equestria after that, enslaving an entire nation.
And you say they did "nothing"? O_o

enslave them? what no! look if chrysalis was struggling with a few thousand of her own kind what make her think that she could handle the millinos of ponys? we dont enslave ponys...or my hive dosent so it was a DINE AND DASH. we planed to fail.

What could have made her think that she could? Deception. Use of ruse.
You planned to fail, really? What if the Elements of Harmony hadn't intervened? What if Twilight Sparkle hadn't had doubts, and hadn't searched after her former foal-sitter and soon-to-be sister-in-law after she was sent there? What if Mi Amore Cadenza hadn't used her magic with Shining Armor to push you all back to Changeling Kingdom?
What would have happened, hmm? Somehow, I find it hard to believe that, even unopposed, your Queen would have stopped at Canterlot, grabbed enough love for all of you, and went back to your Kingdom without further harm.
Call me a licensed sceptical stallion, but I find it hard to believe.

well if twilight had didnt doubts after the wedding we would switch the two again erasing the memory's of the princess of the cave and leaving her with shining. we knew the elements would come in to save the day if not then the "royal guards" pushed us out the same thing with out the magic blast. we would fake our way out. for buck sake twilight was right behind the queen. she literally could have stop her at the tap of a hoof. but she didnt. ok im going to let you in on a little secret ok. changelings are everywhere. were your doctors your guard your teachers farmers bakers you name it. oh the ponys out number us here thats for sure but....no offence but we treat you like cattle in a way. we protect you keep you healthy. all we take is a little emotion. well most of the hives have that in agreement there are others who arnt so....caringΒ
