A realistic take on Danny Phantom; not my favorite show (nor do I ever really watch it...), but the idea behind the character is cool. He's a half-ghost/half-human... thingy.I had a really tough time trying to make him *not* look like a girl... I'm not sure I succeeded -_-; maybe its the hair?
This was super fun to make though
Realistifying cartoon characters is my new hobby! (is realistifying a word? hmm...)

This is so cool. You have to wonder though, if DP was more realistic and Phantom didn't look exactly like Fenton, I think he would look something like this. Like, in real life, if he had a ghost form, this would be it. That way, people wouldn't just go, "Hey, is that Fenton with white hair?"

but, seriously, you have to be pretty emo when you're half ghost half human right? especially considering he's a teenager, the show just can't convey all that inner turmoil he has to be feeling, haha

I love how you did the light in the background. That and the shading give the picture a really haunted appearance. I much prefer this version to the character in the tv show.

I'm glad you like it. I'd like to do an updated version of it now that I've got a better understanding of digital painting, because it was a lot of fun to re-imagine the character.
