hey there! I was going to draw something similar and I was wondering if i could use this kind of like a guide? I just started drawing pixel art so it would help so much! Of course the two will be different colors, pose, etc. <33

Uh. Yes, take it down. You can't just recolor somebody's art and post it without asking them FIRST.

If it's not okay, thats fine. Now that I think about it, I probably couldn't make it look as awesome as yours o.o

Your colour choices work well together and I love the design you gave the fur. The pose looks really good as well.
One thing I noticed when I looked closer though, are you aware that you left some pink in? I'm guessing that was the colour you used to sketch and I wasn't sure if you realized it was still there.
Anyway wonderful job with the details.

I think I used the pink as transparency, that's the only thing I can think of

I think this is really, REALLY GOOD :3 The shading on the farther-away paws could be a bit better, imo.

I'm not sure if I'm digging the black outline, but nonetheless I love it. Especially the shading.

Thanks for your input on the black outline :D I'll keep that in mind next time I do pixel stuff and see if I can make it look good without an outline.

Doesn't necessarily have to be without an outline. What I usually do is create the lineart using the same colour as the shaded portions (or a slightly darker variant). So for instance, the paws would have a grey outline whereas the main body would have the colour of the stripes. It has a more subtle look than solid black, but at the same time still gives it some definition.
If that makes any sense
I agree that it looks great though, particularly the shading and the highlights around the stripes
