Taken during the Lakewood, WA WSECU hostage/standoff situation on Sat August 25th. This is why I ALWAYS carry my camera in my truck with me!I was also the only one there with a cam and was able to sell some photos to the local tv station KOMO: [link]

No, as soon as I got in my truck I called them. Let them know what just happened, which they were just becoming aware of, and told them I had the only pics of the situation and they were immediately all over that. Then I went home and prayed I had some good ones to send in, didn't really have time to preview them while everything was happening.

Always keep your camera with you as much as possible. I make it a necessity when I go somewhere just as much as my keys or wallet!
