Brief explanations:

Verne has good intentions with a somewhat negative attitude when RJ's involved. He wants to keep the group safe and secure, and RJ intrudes on this good-hearted goal of his. And, for obvious reasons, he's lawful.

Heather also has generally good intentions, although they may be hard to spot due to how vague she is as a character. She seems to be very kind-hearted/compassionate in certain situations and doesn't fall into the lawful or chaotic columns.

Hammy has good intentions, being one of the first members of the group to accept and support RJ. He's very compassionate, and I think it's obvious why he's in the chaotic column.

Ozzie is very neutral with RJ and the others, and a lot of his motivation revolves around Heather. He doesn't seem to prefer RJ over Verne that much, only getting mad at Verne because he put all of the group's efforts to waste. And his professional attitude easily puts him in the lawful column.

RJ is one of the hardest to place on the chart because he's the most well-rounded character in the group. His intentions generally revolve around his own interests, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but means he can't be put in the "good" row.

Stella, like Ozzie, is very neutral with the group, especially RJ (she's one of the last ones to follow RJ into the suburbs). And there's definitely a chaotic nature to her that's always threatening to explode.

Gladys is not really "evil", but the antagonists were the only ones that could fit in the evil row. Basically, she has good intentions with an unhealthy attitude. And although her personality is very chaotic, her motives are very lawful.

Vincent is definitely the closest character to a true "villain". Like RJ, he's only focused on his own interests, but unlike how RJ changes at the end of the movie, Vincent is always willing to intentionally harm others for his benefit. That's what really separates the "villains" from the "antagonists".

Dwayne (the Verminator) is just a guy who's incredibly passionate about his job. Although he has a professional mindset, he's shown that he's willing to do WHATEVER it takes to get the job done. And often, this involves very chaotic and destructive actions.
