This is brilliant. I'd love to be able to do stuff like this.

Thank you very much! You can create any space scene you like. I have actually been asked to do some tutorials but have had no luck in finding time, that is a pinch. Is that something you'd be intesrted in as well? I will try to do a couple in the near future if I know it would be useful to people.

If you created a tutorial, I would definitely find that useful.

Awesome! I have been working on putting up website up these last few days with various resources for help with Photoshop, Vue, and Maya. I would like to start a cg community where artists help artists and exchange knowledge, technique ect. Kind of like a cg persia but a way to promote my art as well as others as well. I'll post it when it is published. It still has a way to go.

Excellent!!! What about a space art and/or cg group on dA? Have you considered that option?

Yes, I actually have. Since you have a group I was wondering, is it a lot to manage a group here on DA?

It depends on how seriously you wanna take it. You can have people co-manage it with you, which I don't because I have a bit of time on my hands at the moment. But if you want to make a serious group, and make it work, and keep members active and so on, it's a bit of work, I think.

I guess I will see how my time spans out. If I find myself with a a little extra left over I will tackle a group. It's a great idea. I'd like to finish my website up first then link everything together which would be nice. I guess we'll see.

Not bad, looks like those rings are really heating up nearer the sun. The solar flares are cool too - not enough people bother addings those, but stars are more than just textured spheres and this one feels like it has more depth to it too
