Description
The hand signal here given to the pilot is stop you can see the catapult coming down the track which once it reaches the fighter the plane director will give the signal to bring down a bar on the front landing gear that hooks into the cat which is a right arm out in a bent position then lowered forward till the arm is straight out. Out on the other plane hooked up you can see a green shirt with a box hanging off the shoulder like a computer bag. The numbers listed on it are radio numbers that are checked with the pilot to make sure both the pilot and the boat keep in communication with each other while the aircraft is in the air.
