awesome photo, but I would edit out the man on top of the train. my eye went straight to him and it took away from the power of the phot.

There's that much steam and loco, the guy I think isn't really that noticeable. But yeah all the same I can see where you're coming from.

Yes, I think something was up with the front of the valve gear on the locos right hand side, they were seen to be tightening a bolt furiously before this shot was taken, and this was just a drain cock release test to see if it had been put back on right. She had no other problems all weekend, just one faulty bit that they managed to rectify without too much bother.

Super image, love the smoke and steam and raw power of the image. Personally think it would be even more awesome in black and white and with the guy at the top cloned out of it. Very nice image indeed.
