how i always feel after critiques in art classi have low self esteem...
and they're always a bit meaner to the anime artist

Everyone is a critic. But i know how this feels. It is a terrible feeling, yet it is expressed perfectly with this.

it was just annoying cuz they judged an anime illustration with realism standards
which doesnt even make sense
they prasied realism stuff that honestly by realistic standards was crap

Aye, very true. Or unless you make it bigger then Mozart, or Picasso, or DaVinci, or Beethoven. And even then, those people were shunned until they made it huge.

They need to learn how to critique on ALL types of art. There is no single type of art and there is not a single type that is better than another. And in order to critique on the art type well enough is if you have at least tried to do that art type/Style. And get a perspective on how they used the medium with that type of style. =^=

If it is any consolation I love how you use graphite, the way you add the detail in hair is just amazing. And the way you use Prismacolors/Colored pencils is better than I can use them. :3

idk if ive ever seen something you used prismas on
