Mairon. It made as an picture-answer for Russian community "Ask Silmarillion"Question was "Did you ever loved someone?" and the answer is "No". Pretty short, but i thought that Mairon is not the one who will talk about things like that so we will never know the reason of emotion on his face.

A gorgeously ambiguous picture, as befits the tragic figure of its subject. It magnificently captures theΒ overpowering, dark seductiveness of Mairon, while also conveying a hint of doubt or wistfulness in his expression, as if he already had the prescience of the magnitude of his fall. Or as if he had known it right from the start, but was only indulging in one last glance back before plunging ahead : we will, indeed, never know. Beautiful work on the contrast, the chiselled face and, obviously, the look in his eyes. The three earrings are a nice touch as well. Really impressive.
