Yeah I didn't find this method of drawing fire very good.

Didn't end up with good looking fire. Didn't think the tutorial really focused on what's important in drawing fire.

I feel like HVS jitter brushes are for people that use HSV jitter brushes on everything.

Don't know about the lasso use on fire, is it not supposed to be for harder shapes ?

I also checked the artist as she mentioned that she draws fire this way and turns out she doesn't draw it this way. No lasso tool use, some spray-y brush instead.

I actually got so annoyed at this because the fire she normally draws looks so much better. I put down some notes on how to draw fire. In case anyone else is disappointed in the tutorial.
