I wanted to draw something more in like 3/4.Looking at this I need to work on my clothing folds. Also tan skin is giving me problems...also hands...also everything...

Folds in particular I think just come with practice. There are lots of references out there to help, but eventually you start getting a feel for where they should go.
And yes, doing darker skin-tones means a lot of re-orienting yourself on how to tackle shading.

Thanks, I should probably do more foto studies and stuff it's just that stuff from imagination is more fun to me right now. As for darker skin it never seems to look the way I want to

Ha, I hear you on the photo studies. Personally I tend to wind up struggling with something for awhile, then get fed up with getting it wrong over and over, go find a reference, and immediately realise why I couldn't make it work.
And no worries at all.
