Demi went to the front desk after being congratulated by the judges, she was told to go to a meeting for the winners. The girl from the front desk earlier was talking about how the rest of the tournament would go. They were in the front room that had a giant bracket on the wall. There were about 8 bands left on the bracket.
“Alright guys and girls,” she began, “The way this will work is that next week you’ll all be playing at The Rockett. There will be something like a red carpet for some producers to see you there. You’ll each get about a 30 minute set, so pick your songs wisely. Lastly, were going to get a picture of each of you and you’ll all sign a little sheet which will be brought to the next round. Make a line in front of me and I’ll get the picture and get you’re prize money.”
While Demi was getting her picture taken, the girl asked “Could you take off the mask, so we could see your face.”
“It’s my stage persona, so I’d rather keep it on for the picture.”
“Whatever you say. Must be hot with all that rubber on.”
“Not really, it feels pretty natural.” When Demi got her money she left the Jack Rabbit and spun home.
