Description
Mirri is the princess of Izar, that we can observe in the background.
I would like to focus on my story of Lyxa again.
May be there will have soon more drawings about this world.
Mirri est la princesse d'Izar, que l'on peut observer au loin.
J'aimerais me refocaliser sur l'histoire de Lyxa et lui donner une ligne directrice moins flou.
Il y aura peut être bientôt d'autres dessins sur cet univers.
Note : Oh my God! A DD! I am dreaming! 1000 thanks to Inna-Vjuzhanina for suggest this drawing, and 1000 thanks to KovoWolf for the feature!
I am very touched by that!

First thank you for the critique.
About the insistence on Behoka and Mirri, it is not done totally deliberately. I think that I did that subconsciously, because there are the main subjet.
About the grass, you point of vue is posible. May be the problem comes from that. I do not manage to understand clearly where do come from this problem...
For the mountain I completely agree. When I saw again this drawing for the DD, that it is the first things that I saw, and I said me :"Why I drawn these mountains like this? They are too straight line... More details would be better.
Thank you again

My first impression of the piece is how gorgeous it is, second is "yay good furry (anthro if you prefer, I know some people dislike the term furry) art!". That horse is really good too, ti's so realistic despite the slightly cartoony lean of the style, and I like that you've well indicated fur on the feline's face.
The three things I'd comment on most is two issues of lighting and the grass. For the first issue of lighting, I'm not certain you got your source quite right. I could be incorrect here as I'm not expert, but I think you might have wanted extend the shadows a slight bit up, so you have a bit more of a curving sensation. This is based on the light of the sky to the right of the image. You've managed the curve on the metal, but not on a lot of the horse and feline's fur. I think you might need a little bit of shading due to the way the feline's cape is flying above the horse's rear as well - tl;dr the lighting feels off, but I'm no where near confident enough in my shading to majorly commit to a suggestion in regards to how to fix it.
The other lighting issue is how hard it is. You've used a form of cel shading here, and it clashes with the rest of the image. I'd use a blur brush on most of the shading edges on your character and the horse to soften it up a bit. I'm not sure how much, because the light source may cause a sharp shadow in some of the areas, but I don't think it should be so sharp over the entire image.
The final issue is the grace. Did you use a grass brush? I know it's really tedious to do grass by hand, so if that's not an option you should look around for tutorials on how to use a grass brush. I've seen some that with some significant fiddling can make it look much more natural. If you didn't use a brush, I'd spend more time on the grass. It looks really artificial when pieced with the rest of the image.
It really is a good image though, much better than I'm capable of. That horse is so majorly a thing of beauty, and the back part of your background is gorgeous!
PS - Please ignore the middle rating on the rating section - I very much dislike dA's system (it's very arbitrary) so I always mark three stars on anything I critique. It has nothing to do with my opinions on the art.

Thank you very much for your constructive critique. It is perfect to improve!
There is no problem for me to say furry instead of anthro.
You're right, Mirri's cape should creates a shadow on Behoka's back. It is a mistake from me. Thank you for show me.
About the shadows on Mirri and Behoka, I think you're right. May be a shading with more gradient would have be better. It is too hard. But I wanted to insist on the contrast.
No I did not use a brush for the grass. I did it one by one... But you're right, there is something that it no good in my grass. May be it is not enough deep...
Thank you again for your critique, it is exactly what I need to improve.

This is gorgeous! Your grasp of the movement between horse and rider is very nice. The only thing I see is that she's riding with very, very hard hands. Unless she's trying to stop Behoka, her hands would probably be softer, closer to the horse's neck. Her forward seat and front weight seem to urge the horse on, but her hands are yanking it back.
The lighting, characters, setup, background, and details are just GORGEOUS!!! Behoka is drawn amazingly well; she looks just like a real mare charging up the hill. The anatomy on both her and Mirri is just phenomenal!
I have to say something about Behoka's tack: It's breathtaking! There's so much detail there, and it's positioned perfectly on her body.
I also love the details in the rest of the picture, from the castle in the background to the painstaking lighting bits on the cloak. Beautiful!

Thank you very much for the critique. I appreciate that. Really.
For the hard hand, it is normal, because Mirri is asking to Behoka to stop.
For the anatomie and Behoka's tack, I am very touched that you find it is good, because it was my weakness, but since I have learn to ride, I understand many things about that. So I am very glad to learn that I have improved.
Thank you again

I love anthro cats, and your story sounds interesting. I admire people with imagination and the ability to choose words that bring it to life for others.
BTW: Have you read "Lackadaisy" yet?

It's a web comic here: www.lackadaisycats.com
It's in English, but the author also posts chapters to her deviant art account.

I really like this piece.
