Another commission for *Celestialhost . This time he wanted that I draw a fanart of World of Warcraft: Azshara, queen of the night elves, riding a saber cat in a forest.

I'm pretty sure the novels refer to her riding a saber cat in her spare time. That is why I commissioned this; I had never seen her drawn on one.

Not sure, I've read the trilogy and I don't seem to recall anything about her riding a sabercat. Maybe it's just my memory, or her general portarit just makes it very unlikely that she would be keen to get dirty and mount an animal, not to mention that charging through wilderness on a giant cat isn't exactly a comfortable experience. Not a clean one too, as I mentined before...

Azshara goes out riding on a nightsaber in The Demon Soul chapter 18. It's on page 417 of the omnibus edition.
As if a queen would be unable to ride a noble mount...
