Collaborate with for a short doujinshi for his fan fiction.

I'm so pleased that this was completed before my semester starts. It's not like I won't draw but I doubt if I still have time to finish these whole thing fast (I still have 3 pages to draw and CG beside a lot of plans Q______Q).

A little more explanation about this. Project G.O.D (Gate of the Dead) is the 2nd part of a long story call ZX Trilogy (based on MMZA Advent timeline) that I and my friend planned to make a long time ago. However, due to some of the other business, somehow the project is getting to nowhere and we delay it for a time God knows. But fortunately since each of the story got unique plot, the cancellation for one fic doesn't affect the others. And recently have decided to continue with his part of G.O.D, so I'm glad to help him with this if you want to know more, just ask him xD

About this. This short comic is actually my request for since my FCs appear in his fic and I like to see them in drawing, so I asked him to give me the idea and the sketch of a scene which talks about my two favorite FC, while the rest of the CG I would do by myself. And this is the finishing version of the 1st page of the four.

Indeed, it has been a while since the last time I drew these characters (I stopped drawing them when I started playing Elsword, if I don't count the time I drew the coloring meme xD). I'm so happy and enjoyable when drawing them. Of course they have their own biographies (because they are main protagonist and antagonist of my own project called Holy Era^^) but since they are my first and were created many years ago, their stories are not so heavy like what I'm doing now Yes, compare to Cross I can say they are still gentler. However, I will give some brief "introduction" about them here

Gender: Female
Age (in Holy Era): 16
Species: Human
Characteristic: A kind, lovely and thoughtful girl in general. She is active and willing to help everyone surrounding her what she can to make them happy. She is clever and friendly too. However, she can be hot-tempered and stubborn sometimes, especially when facing a dramatic change. Nevertheless, she knows when she is wrong, and she will try to fix her mistakes and make everything better later.
Clair is an open-hearted person. Through the events, she had learned and accepted a lot of things and had been calmer and more mature. She's also a fair and empathizing person. She knows what is important to do first and then make good decision to make sure for the best result. She can understand people too and never judge them in one way. That makes her become a reliable friend and a good leader.
About (in Holy Era): Clair was a student who first had a normal life. Her childhood was not a happy period though. Her father, once being a professional tracker, was retired from his old job to be a researcher but then died in a massacre due to his team had involved in a project about a mysterious crystal which had enormous energy, and thus they were killed because of people's greed and misunderstanding. She then lived with her mother and elder brother but when she reached 11, her brother went missing in one of his assignments. A few years later the city where she lived was attacked by Maverick. While protecting her, Clair's mother sacrificed. She was then saved by a reploid named Christ Grandfield, who was her parent's close friend, and became his foster daughter.
One day when Clair, Christ and Christ's friends went camping, the girl had found an odd cave unexpectedly. She had spent and observed a lot of unexplainable and scary things of an unknown age, didn't realize that she had waken an ancient "soul" which had been imprisoned in another dimension a long time ago until she confronted the Mavericks. While being hopeless to save herself and her foster father, a voice of a dragon echoed offering her a power. Clair, who had no choice, accepted the contract and became a Mega Man using M.A.G.E system. When the danger was out, she acknowledged that the person (or a beast) who had helped her was the one in the cave. That person claimed himself a Spirit of a Divine Beast. However, he had lost his memory, and was desperate to find his own name along with everything in his past. But Clair refused when the man confirmed to be with her, as she is his Chosen One and the "key" to help him. The strained relationship continued until the day Clair's city was raided again. In the battle, though she still used the dragon's power, the girl was so furious that she casted the spirit out. When she confronted a mysterious man with a fearsome power similar to her but in the form of a giant bird and almost lost, she realized her mistake and wished to see the dragon again before she died. That helped to reform the link between the two as they could sympathize to each other, and they together fought the strange guy, even later defeated the Maverick boss (with the help of that stranger).
After the event and afterward, Clair learned more about the reason behind the rampage of the new kind Maverick and the truth about the mysterious gems which had appeared and scattered all over the world, causing a new chaos. With the help of her trustful friends, she founded a guild called Elysium to fight against the Mavericks. But the fight she was on was more terrible and fiercer than she imagined since it actually the war between the Supreme Heirs who were carrying powerful holy spirits from the previous world with their own desires and ambitions. Through their great battles, Clair had learned more about them and achieved true understanding, both of her friends and her enemies, as well as many cruel secrets that had been buried in a time out of mind.

Age (in Holy Era): N/A (but based on his appearance, he was about more than 20)
Species: Human/Artificial being (???)
Characteristic: Noir is a very vicious and cruel man in all aspects. He likes to torture people and taste their despair and pain, as the way he calls "entertainment". He is heartless and arrogant, and never sympathizes with people. He's very warlike, sadistic and malicious, uses everything he has to enjoy the battle in a brutal way. Despite of how he's crazy, Noir is very distinguished. He loves using every man as his toys and tools to achieve his true goals. For him, only the absolute evil exists and he believes there's no good in life. That's why his actions are always inhumane, and he sees the others as trash.
Noir has no emotional concept. That's why the only feeling he has is enjoyment and eagerness (with his cold-blooded actions). He cannot distinguish negative and positive emotions since he has no experience about that (his birth and past life affected him the most). Thus, what existing in his inner soul is void and an empty page.
However, through the time he worked with his underlings, he had formed a strong bond with them, which later he realized how precious it is, though he still couldn’t define it. And when he met a girl named Clair, who at first he saw as his “entertainment”, he had changed after that. He even knew “love” but couldn’t help to express it and the result was becoming awkward when dealing with this. Though Noir kept retaining his devious self, he started to see more in people’s souls and acted more thoughtful, as well as gradually acknowledged his sufferings.
About (in Holy Era): Noir used to be a specimen. His real name was not Noir Raven but Reino Revan based on the original life form’s name. His birth started due to the event of an ambitious scientist, who was obsessed by the power of the Biometal Mega Men, had found a powerful source of energy unexpectedly when he lost in a mountain range. Being seduced by the strange power and its whispers, the mad scientist tried to use it but being refused because of his un-matching DNA and soul factors. That’s why he brought the sample to his laboratory and started researching in secret with his colleagues. He tried to create a lot of reploids with different structures for it, but after several times he was still unsuccessful. Deep into his disappointment, he sank into booze and got a child with a young woman who was planned to engage to him.
A few years later, one night, the scientist heard the voice of the sample of the powerful source urging him to find a real life form for it. And to return the favor, it would grant any wish for him, even power to conquer the world. The mad man, in the lust of power and in the powerlessness since he couldn’t find a suitable vessel for the source, suddenly thought of the child he had with the woman. He then went to the woman’s house, violently kidnapped the child as he hoped it would be a successful specimen. And he really did it. However, since the child was too weak, he couldn’t bear the enormous energy and died sometime after the experiment. Getting angry because of that, the sinful man used the remaining DNA of the child and created multiple copies of him, but until the experiment number 13, his attempt had failed. Fortunately, a black shard of crystal came to him, and it held the power compared to the source, so he used it to conduct another life form. Though the experiment succeeded this time, the power of the shard had terminate the emotional system of the object. However, the cruel man didn’t care about that and not see the object as his son. Instead, to prevent the fail of the last time, he put the child in harsh training and treated him very badly, as well as isolated him with the outer world. The purpose of the man was creating a life form with only negative emotions since it could match with the source and never broke as the request of the evil sample. Moreover, as the object showed the sign of endurance for a long time, the scientist used him to create another copy, but this time was a reploid (based on this 13th specimen) since reproducing the object might trigger a risk.
About the child, he was like an empty shell with no knowledge, no experience and no emotion except accepting the mistreating without any meaning. Thus, he didn’t know what was called “love” and “hate”, nor “freedom” and “pain”. His days continued until the time a tracker (Clair’s father) found him and rescued him, destroyed the whole lab. As the tracker later explained, he did this because of the quest of a woman and he had promised her to bring her son back. The object then lived with the woman in her brother’s house. He was named Reino (after the name of her original son as she found out that the boy was just his copy) and was loved by that woman. However, the scientist was still alive and had tracked the place where Reino lived, so he forced the uncle to bring the child for him with high price, but this work had to be done without making any fuss. Blinding by greed, the man killed his sister when she tried to protect her “son”, and sold the child to his evil creator. Nevertheless, when the chest imprisoned him was delivered, the group was ambushed by the Mavericks and the chest fell down to a fall. As it flowed to a town, Reino was saved by the people there. But his chase didn’t stop. The scientist had used dirty trick to force him come out, but the people who had helped him open a secret path for him to escape. When running from being caught, Reino had lost to a graveyard, had no idea that it was the gate of another dimension. Being hungry and exhausted, he stole some food from the bandits but was discovered. Driven to the dead end, he broke the seal around a stone pillar and accepted the help of the voice there, didn’t know it was a very dangerous soul of a powerful but full of hatred man/beast that had been condemned continuing torment for ages. As the beast was released, it took control of Reino’s mind and killed everyone there, and attempted to possess the body. However, it was something strange that the soul hadn’t been released completely, so it came to a thought of killing its host’s soul, but had been defeated when confront Reino. Instead, it had realized the bond between the two as the only key for its freedom, and so it offered Reino to use its strength at a different level than the other Supreme Heirs'. In exchange, Reino had to free it and offer his body, and the proof of that contract was his eyes, but to help him maintain his vision, the soul only asked him to cover one of the eyes as it didn’t want people to discover its appearance. Reino at first was quite hesitated, but after he recalled every tragedy he had spent, he accepted this contract. The beast now showed its true form as a man with the name Lucian Helmdrake, the used-to-be powerful king of darkness. With the new power overwhelming anything in earth, Reino found everyone had caused his disaster and killed them. After he slaughtered the scientist, Reino decided to change his name and create a new life with the spirit within him: “As I was reborn and share this fearsomeness with the Lord of Darkness, I shall burn my past to ashes and take the name of his deceased child.” After that, he was called Noir Raven (the reverse of his name Reino Revan).
His new journey began without a destination. He had formed a reluctant friendship with a band of street children until he was taken to save their lives. And he had been trained and taught by an assassin reploid who later became his first underling. He wandered everywhere, gathered people with the power of spirits until the day he gained enough strength to be the most fearsome ringleader of the underworld, being addressed as “king”. And his plan to take revenge on world started from here…
