"Ow...where am I?" You sat up, rubbing your head. Looking around, you found yourself..in darkness? Standing up, you looked to the sky-the cliff from where you had fallen..

How did you get here to begin with?

"HOWDY!"

Startled, you squeaked a bit as you turned your head sharply, looking for the source of the voice.

"Down here, idiot.." You heard a very, very faint mumble, but since you heard it you managed to find a white flower with yellow petals.

"Eh..?"

The flower looked up at you, his previous frown gone in a flash, being replaced with a cheerful grin. "Howdy~! I'm Flowey~! Flowey the Flower~!" He introduced himself, but you were mortified at the sight of a talking plant.

"Y-You're a...a talking f-f-flower...." You mumbled, staring wide-eyed at the sunflower. He only chuckled at your expression. "Gosh, if only you can see your face, human..if you really think that encountering a talking flower here in the Underground is bad..then you poor sap won't stand a chance against the other Monsters who live here."

At the mentioning of 'the Underground' and 'Monsters', your fear of Flowey immediately subsided. "Wait..did you say this was..the Underground?"

"Why, yes," Flowey responded, "this is the world underneath yours, where you humans sent us after a few little skirmishes.." He spat out the word 'human'. Your eyes widened again, this time with excitement and not fear.
"Wow..I..I thought this place was just a myth!" You breathed, looking around you. Flowey was about to say something, feeling insulted by you calling this world merely a myth..but he got an idea..an awful idea.

"Well, you're new to the Underground, aren't'cha~? Someone ought to teach you how things work around here~!" He proposed. You looked down at him, confused. "Umm...okay? I guess that would be a good idea."

"Yes, but I guess little old me will have to do~" Flowey sighed. "You will start off weak, but you can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV so you can face the many dangers the physical world holds."

"LV? What does tha-"

"Why, LOVE, of course~!" He giggled. "You want some love, don't'cha~? Don't worry, I'll share some with you~!" He winked at you, causing you to slightly blush, before seeing several tiny, white pellets appear around him.

"Down here, love is shared through little white..."friendliness pellets~!" The flower giggled. "Are you ready~? Get as many as you can~!"

Feeling like you can trust him, you walked forward to touch the pellets..only for one of them to shoot right through your side. Screaming, you collapsed to your knees, clutching your now bleeding torso. He tricked you.

"You idiot." Looking up, you were horrified to see Flowey's eyes turn black and his face turn grim. "W-Why-"
"In this world, it's kill or BE killed!" He sneered. "Why would ANYONE pass up an opportunity like this?!"

"That's a..a stupid r-rule!" You retorted. "I thought I-I could trust you!"

"Trust?" Flowey cackled, before throwing his head back, laughing. "There's no such thing as 'Trust' down here. It's a shame though..that you had to find that out the hard way..now DIE!!!"

The flower continued to laugh maniacally, as a ring of his so-called "friendliness pellets" surrounded you, closing in...

'I can't escape..' you thought, struggling to stand up. 'There's no hope for m-'

Suddenly, the bullets had vanished. Flowey immediately stopped laughing, confused. "What? Where are-?" He was then struck by a fireball, getting knocked unconscious as a result.

Your eyes began to grow heavy as you tried to look for your savior, before collapsing again. Rather than to the ground, though, you fell into warm, furry, and strong arms just as you blacked out, hearing a gentle voice saying.

"You will be alright...my child.."
