Description
A few years in the future from where he stands, Rivet ends up going completely batshit. He loses incentive to keep hold of what little sanity he has left, and his whole inner being is swallowed whole, forced into an abyss of warped thinking and insanity. He loses grip on reality. Everything is a distraction. Everything is a decoy. He scares away or kills anyone who may cross his path, in fear of distraction. He lives in blinding fear, anger, anticipation. Bloodthirsty.
He believes he has gained immunity. He becomes full of this suspicion. He's been with the Cult so long, he's survived this long; he believes no one can destroy him but himself. And there's little of himself left.
He ends up killing someone who was extremely vital to him in his earlier years; someone whom was able to pierce through the skittish, flustered appearance he had lived with for so long, in such a careless manner it should seem embarrassing for him.
He brings forth his own gory demise.
