And then she told her the story in her point-of-view:

///“What I never told you about last night is that I was assigned by Guildmaster Wigglytuff to visit Xatu’s house for a… psychic assessment from him, as what he told me. It was already late at night, like 9:45 in the evening when I left; you guys weren’t home yet anyway.

Xatu opened the door and welcomed me in. “Antonette, I know you and your team are master detectives, and the reason I called you here… specifically: is that something has been bothering not only me, but also the well-being of Treasure Town’s inhabitants.” He said with worry.

He sat me down and handed me a case folder and explained: “It all started with a missing local: Rose Somersette, a Gardevoir, who went missing a few days ago, but was found murdered on the outskirts of town, in Sharpeedo Bluff by a local.

When me, Guildmaster Wigglytuff, Mr. Chatot were led to the murder scene by the local, the body was gone, instead was a black rose grown on small pool of blood.” He placed a crystal ball on the floor. “This crystal ball will foresee the future of Treasure Town if this killer isn’t found.”

As he focuses all his energy on the crystal ball, the future is foreseeable with the blink of an eye, and the room grew darker. “The town is definitely in great danger… the killer… isn’t just murdering random locals… he kills Pokémon who know the truth…”

“What is the truth…?” I asked,

“About the murderer’s antics… he wants… The Key to Treasure Town, as what he defines…”

“Could you tell me who the murderer is …?” I hesitantly asked.

Xatu’s eyes widened. “The murderer… is… right behind me!” he faced behind him and was greeted by a huge dark figure wearing a cloak, and has a glowing red eye. We were shocked, as… we didn’t let him in.

And that’s when I saw… the figure formed a spear with his dark force, and… and… he shot Xatu in the heart… when he looked at me dead in the eyes, he made another spear, and threw it, but missed…

And then… I just ran away. ///
