“Antonette, why didn’t you tell us…?” Wilhelm worriedly asked, “Why did you run away?”

“I was scared… I did nothing to help Xatu break free from… from this… dark entity.” she stuttered.

Liam intervened. “She was an eyewitness to this upbringing. Now we have to solve two murders instead of one… or even more than, if this killer finds out other locals who know this… key.”

“And it’s our job to find him. But first, our objective is that we have to investigate the crime scene, and we need more info on Rose Somersette to find allies or enemies.” Clarenze stated. “Understood?”

“Understood.” The three others replied.

After the conversation, they prepared their stuff, their bandannas and their badges, and set off. Team Stewardship was assigned to go to the guild, while Team Commitment is assigned to go to Xatu’s house for clues.

One more thing, Mr. Chatot’s library has also all the information of all of Treasure Town’s locals. He’s not a stalker, obviously, but of course, every local has to fill in to know that they are not some outsider, and this is equivalent to citizenship.

As they arrived to the guild, Guildmaster Wigglytuff gave them permission to enter Chatot’s library, as they must speak to him.

Wilhelm knocked on the door. “Mr. Chatot, are you here?”

“Huh…? Oh! Yes.” He opened the door. “Do come in.” the Treecko and Eevee entered the small library, while Chatot is finding the file of Rose.

“Sir… you should know that Antonette…” Wilhelm sighed. “… had witnessed the murder of Xatu with her own eyes.”

Chatot froze and turned back to them, eyes teared up a bit, Antonette feeling distressed. “Oh no… I’m so sorry you witnessed Xatu’s murder, dear… It’s best that I should talk to Wilhelm over here, would it be alright?”

Antonette nodded. Chatot said, “You should go to Guildmaster Wigglytuff to… discuss last night’s case.”

“Thanks, Chatot.” Antonette said, and then left the room.
