This is my OC Lotus sleeping under Sakura Trees. That's what Spring is all about. Cherry Blossoms and sleeping ^w^Last Minute Entry for the Spring Contest!

Last year, we had a Rainbow Power contest around this time. Now, we're doing something more spring!

Spring Contest Criteria
Since the theme is spring, we want to see character in a springtime light!Draw/write your character enjoying spring however they want! Are they watching flowers bloom, or enjoying the wonderful rain? Do they indulge in the new, pastel fashion that comes with spring and finally putting away their heavy coats?
The image must match the theme of springtime, be it with flowers or bright colors, or rainy days! What do you associate with spring? What do they do for Winter Wrap-up?

I totally wanted to join but forgot the due date...since I'm heading home today I'm not able to draw the next days.
Sooo I had to finish it today. Did I mention that I hate backgrounds?

It's a stunning piece and I wanted to congratulate you for winning the first place !
It's more than deserved ! It's just beautiful, I love the soft shading and the colors.
The way you framed the picture with the flowers on top, it gives the impression we found her by accident while walking in the forest.
Just a peaceful and serene moment. So relaxing to look at.
And the way you made the water mane and tail, on the a bit ground like a tiny stream, it's like she's merging with the ground somehow !
