First request out of four, done!

This request was made by my friend , of his griffon OC flying with the CMC on his back.

I was really inspired by this request (more that I have been lately...), mostly because I got to try and draw something new. A gryphon.
Yep. First time drawing a gryphon. Used a TON of references from the show. Also I sketched this one completely by hand, without tracing the hard parts. And I really like how it turned out.

This would have been finished on Saturday butt, when it was nearly finished it crashed. I lost 3 hours of shading and touch-ups. Because of that, my motivation for the whole weekend was shattered.

One other thing I learned is that I can't make the file this large anymore. In the beginning it was fine, but once I started shading it crashed almost constantly (I lost about 8 hours worth of work all together). As much as I like working with a large canvas like this, I'll have to dial it down for the next one.
