Reminds me of Sleeping Beauty. The dress, the setting; it all fits.

hmmm I don't know, I think sleeping beauty would wear a more ruffly girly dress.

All your photos are so elegant.. What camera do you use and how do you edit it? xP It's fantastic, and so soft, too.

I have a canon 10D but I usually use my boyfriend's canon 350D just because its newer and I like the way it looks.
I edit everything differently, it just depends on what each photo needs, you have to have a feel for it. I use diffuse glow a lot, curves, selective color and I use an unsharpen mask on every photo I do just to sharpen it a bit. Also I use layer masks to burn and dodge instead of those retarded burning and dodging tool in photoshop

Very nice. ^^
I just have an old minolta semi-automatic film camera, love it to death though she's my first SLR, haha. And I have some random really not good for much olympus.
::shakes fist at dodge and burn:: haha

yessss it's so annoying in film, especially in color film.
first I had a 2 megapixel sony, then a samsung a402, then a minolta dimage 7i, then a rebel x for film, then a 10D and then the 350D. And i got to play around with large format cameras but I didn't really take anything.
layer masks make burning and dodging less destructive and muchhh easier.

One of my absolute favourites of your work! The pose, the fabric, your clothes, your expression, the colours, the light... EVERYTHING seems just so perfect to me. I really, really love that piece!

hehe, I wasn't sure if I liked the expression because it seems so bored, but I decided I liked the shot in general. thank you!

I tell my bf my hair is the color it is, because if you freeze it, it will turn to solid gold.

Beautiful. There's something about this photo in particular that's incredibly striking... I think it's the paleness of your skin in contrast with the white and then your hair, and how your eyes seem to be burning into the camera, past the camera almost.
Lovely job.

hehe, this is the original (ignore the watermark, I wanted to show someone on neo, but I'm too lazy to grab the unmarked off the other computer)

I liked the way it looks pale, because it adds more contrast to the lips, but I don't think many people can look that pale short of painting themselves white.
