i did link u under my pic i also went to ur account and let u know that i used it
the only mistake i see is that i thought it was stock.
and also the fact that u think i changed the colors only ....come on

I know, I overreacted... But it's not about what you've done to the picture, I wouldn't have cared if you just asked first, or simply made sure that picture wasn't a stock piece. But again, I'm sorry for overreacting.. But that doesn't change the fact that you did wrong.

I have to say, that a photomanipulation isn't really worth anything if you just take someone elses picture and change the colours. The only thing I like with this is the eyes, that slightly look like fire. Everything else is bland, and boring.

Secondly, this guy used my photo without even asking first. And it's not a stockphoto.

deviant art isn't a website that's about going around and critiquing. it's an online portfolio. if someone wants a critique, they'll ask for it. otherwise, keep it to yourself.
secondly, why insult someone? you didn't even say anything about this person using your photo. how was anyone supposed to know? don't be sore about it when you didn't even confront the person in the first place.

Well, I was under the impression that deviantart was for sharing art and have other comment and critique it. And, as with alot of things you take the good with the bad.
I did not insult him, I spoke my mind. I don't feel I was evil, petty or simply bashing his work. I said what I thought, the likes and the dislikes. And I dislike that people take photos alter some minor thing and put it up as a photomanipulation. I don't think it's fair to the original artist. And seeing as I did not even approve this before this guy went and submitted this as his work(even though he credited me), I especially don't think it's right.
If you think what I said was an insult, if you think I'm a bitch... I don't know, I believe you're wrong... But I guess that's cool.

yes. deviant art is for sharing art. but it's not very polite or wise to critique everything you see, you could hurt someone who's still developing. if they don't ask for criticism, then i don't think it's a good idea to "speak your mind". first of all, not everyone cares what you have to say. and if they don't ask for it, they probably won't care. and don't you want your criticism to mean something? not just make you look like some self-centered bitch who tosses out insulting critics at will?
i don't care what you like and dislike. but that's me, speaking my mind.
if you're so pissed off about him using your picture, ask him to take it off. simple as that.
